Woman “severely injured” in Fife pub: former partner in court
A Fife man is accused of disfiguring his former partner by striking her with a glass to her severe injury in a Dunfermline pub.
Alastair Lindsay (34) appeared in private on petition at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
It is alleged that on 21st April at the East Port Bar, East Port, he assaulted the woman by lunging towards her, striking her on the head with a glass to her severe injury, permanent disfigurement and permanent impairment.
He is also accused of assaulting the woman in East Port by pushing her and causing her to fall to the ground.
Lindsay, formerly of Daniel Place, Rosyth, gave a new address in Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline.
He made no plea, was committed for further examination and was granted bail by Sheriff Craig McSherry.
