Two in court over offensive video mocking death of Fife woman

A Dunfermline couple have appeared in court accused of posting an offensive video mocking the death of Fife woman Sonya Todd (pictured) on the tenth anniversary of her death.

Amanda Britt (32) and David Kinloch (34) appeared on petition today at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

It is alleged that on 22nd March in an address in Dunfermline they conducted themselves in a disorderly manner by uploading to the internet offensive videos portraying the killing of Sonya Todd on the tenth anniversary of her death.

Mum-of-one Sonya (21) was killed in Methil in March 2008 after a horrific assault which lasted up to five hours and involved her being hit by a dog lead.

The pair made no plea and both were committed for further examination. Both were granted bail.
