Filmed sex with 15-year-old girl then threatened to post it on-line
A Dunfermline teenager filmed himself having sex with a 15-year-old girl and then threatened to post the video on social media.
The 16-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court following the incident.
He admitted that on 2nd December at an address in Dunfermline he engaged in sexual activity with a girl then aged under 16.
He also admitted that on 3rd December, he threatened to disclose a film which showed the girl in an intimate situation and threatened to share a video of her engaging in sexual intercourse, intending to cause her fear, alarm or distress.
Depute fiscal Dev Kapadia told the court that the accused and the girl began to communicate via social media last October.
On 2nd December the accused sent a message to the girl saying they could meet in Dunfermline.
She travelled by bus to Dunfermline and they went to his home.
“They engaged in consensual sex. He asked if he could video himself during sex and she agreed,” added the depute.
“He then walked her back to the bus station and she went home. Prior to them parting company, they had arranged to meet each other the following day.
“On the morning of 3rd December, the accused contacted her on social media. She informed him she was unable to meet him.
“He became angry and threatened to show the video of them having sex. This caused her considerable distress and matters were reported by the police.”
Sheriff Ross McFarlane QC called for reports and the youth will be sentenced on 18th April.
