SPITTING, VANDALISM, THREATS TO RAIL STAFF IN FIFE

British Transport Police say they are having to increase patrols in Fife because of recent anti-social behaviour.

They say, “We will not tolerate spittle assaults, vandalism, abusive and threatening behaviour on rail staff.

“In response to recent anti-social behaviour in the Fife area we have increased high visibility patrols.

“As always, our officers will continue to patrol the rail network across Scotland to ensure that the railway remains a safe and secure place to travel.”
