Fife man (29) named as victim in road tragedy

The man who died in a road accident in Fife on Monday has been named as 29-year-old Martin Buchan from Coaltown-of-Wemyss.

The accident took place on the A911 Windygates to Glenrothes at 3.40am with no other vehicle involved.

Mr Buchan’s family issued the following statement saying, “We feel total devastation for the passing of our much-loved son, Martin – he has left so many aching hearts behind.

“We would like to say how grateful we are for the tremendous support from friends and family who have been by our side helping us through this tragedy.”
