Man found after Methil docks alert

A man, who was at the centre of a police and coastguard missing person operation in Methil, has been found safe and well.

Concerns were raised for the man who was seen in a distressed state in the docks area of Methil on Wednesday night.

The man was traced safe and well at around 10am today in the East Wemyss area.

Police have thanked the public for their assistance.
