Fife man jailed for drug dealing

A Fife drug dealer has been jailed after cannabis resin with a value of up to £4400 was found in his home.

Sean Muirhead (43), of Rosewell Drive, Lochore, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He previously admitted that on 17th August at his home he was concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, cannabis resin.

Depute fiscal Ron Hay said a search warrant was executed and 444g of cannabis resin was found.

Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said, “He accepted responsibility from the outset. He’s struggled with a drug problem for a significant period of time.

“He was paying for his own drug use by this limited supply to others.”

Sheriff Morag McKenzie jailed Muirhead for six months.
