Fife man accused of arson attack on kebab shop

 

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court accused of an arson attack on a take-away kebab shop in Rosyth. 

Cole Keggan,  of Admiralty Road, Rosyth, appeared on petition at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today. 

It followed an incident at a kebab and Indian hot food take-away. 

It is alleged that on 18th May at the Shalimar take-away, Queensferry Road, Keggan wilfully set fire to a bottle and its contents then threw it at the premises, causing the fire to take effect and damaging the shutters. 

Keggan made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail. 

Police issued an appeal following the incident which occurred between 12.10am and 12.25am.
