Youth (15) arrested following vandalism attacks on homes

A 15-year-old male has been charged following a spate of vandalism which took place in Kirkcaldy last week.

The incidents happened in the Links and Seafield areas between Wednesday and Thursday.

At least 19 homes were vandalised by having items thrown at their windows, including bricks.

Properties were targeted in Douglas Street, David Street, Whytehouse Avenue, South Fergus Place, Lady Helen Street, Milton Road, Aitken Court, Saunders Street, Links Street, Bridge Street, Seafield Road, Bowhouse Drive, Long Craigs Walk and East Vows Walk.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and police investigations are continuing.
