Second arrest following Burntisland street attack

Police have arrested a 19-year-old male in connection with a street assault in Burntisland on Friday night.

The incident happened in Dick Crescent at around 10pm and the victim sustained serious facial injuries.

The 19-year-old local man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today.

Officers are still following positive lines of inquiry in relation to a number of other people thought to have been involved and have thanked the public for their “excellent” support so far.

A 13-year-old boy has also been arrested following the incident.
