Driver injured in Fife hit and run incident

 

A man has been injured in a hit and run incident on the A92 dual carriageway.

The collision took place at around 4.30am yesterday morning on the westbound carriageway between Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly.

A grey Citroen Xsara was in a collision with a white vehicle, which was then driven off.

The driver of the Citroen sustained a back injury and was taken to the Victoria Hospital for treatment.

The A92 was closed for around 90 minutes after the collision.

Inspector Ian Flynn of Dunfermline police station said, “A man was injured in this collision and we would like to hear from anyone who saw it and who has information that can assist us with our investigation.”
