“Recklessly” injected heroin into the arm of another person

 

A Fife man has appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court after injecting heroin into the arm of another male to his injury.

Mark Anderson (28), of Nethertown Broad Street, Dunfermline, admitted the offence. 

He pleaded guilty to a charge that on 16th September at an address in Craigmyle Street, Dunfermline, he culpably, recklessly and with utter disregard to the consequences, inserted a hypodermic needle into the arm of a male residing there and injected him with a substance believed to be diamorphine, all to his injury. 

Sheriff Chris Shead called for reports and Anderson will return to court for sentencing on 17th January.
