Accused of masked knife assault on shop assistant

 

A Fife man has appeared in court accused of stealing a phone and brandishing a knife at a shop assistant with his face masked. 

Adam Bett (33), of Kirktoun Street, Ballingry, appeared on petition at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. 

It is alleged that on 9th December at the Co-op store, Lochleven Road, Lochore, he stole a mobile phone. 

He is also accused of assaulting a female shop worker by brandishing a knife at her with his face masked. 

It is further alleged that on the same day at Ballingry Road, Lochore, Bett was in possession of a knife and a meat cleaver. 

Bett made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
