Fife man faces attempted murder charge
A 44-year-old Fife man has appeared in court accused of attempted murder.
Francis Jarrett, from Cowdenbeath, appeared from custody on petition at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He made no plea, was committed for further examination and was released on bail.
He will return to court for his next appearance on a date still to be confirmed.
