Perv pensioner naked on balcony shock for neighbours

A sex offender stood naked on the balcony of his home just days after being given early release from a jail term.

A five-year-old girl and her mum living close by were shocked when they saw the antics of David Scott-Wilson.

Scott-Wilson was already on the sex offenders register when he paraded naked outside his home in Lochgelly.

The mum took photos of the pensioner as proof of the incident before phoning the police.

His excuse was he had just taken a shower and was seeing what the weather was like before he decided what clothes to wear.

Scott-Wilson (69), of Chapel Street, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on 21st September at his home he committed an offence of public indecency by standing naked on the balcony of his home.

Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said, “At 8.15am a mother and her daughter were in their home. When the curtains were opened, they saw the accused standing on his own balcony completely naked.

“This caused them concern obviously, particularly the five-year-old girl.”

Police were called and Scott-Wilson was detained. “He later told police he couldn’t recall much about it but he agreed he was naked when told photos had been taken. He said he didn’t know anybody was watching,” added the depute.

Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said, “He went out to test the air temperature to see what to wear.”

However, Sheriff Derek Reekie said, “Standing on a balcony naked it would have been obvious to anyone that people would see him.”

The sex offender had been given early release from his previous jail sentence on 11th September when he should have remained locked up until 11th December.

Sheriff Reekie told Scott-Wilson, “I take the view this is a serious offence. You were standing outside at 8.15 in the morning.

“The explanation you gave about testing the weather left me singularly unimpressed. A young girl had to view your naked body and it must have been distressing for the child.

“This happened ten days after you had been given early release.”

Scott-Wilson was sent back to jail for 117 days.

I agree I have been using twitter as a constant reminder to Fife Council police scotland to keep our kids safe by keeping sex offenders out because they are the main focus! Not the children in fife , not the families torn by the aftermath of such evil scum x
