Man injured in glass assault in Fife bar
A man has been injured in an unprovoked attack in a Fife bar.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault in Kirkcaldy.
It is believed a glass or bottle was used in the attack on the 32-year-old victim. The man sustained injuries to his face and was taken to the Victoria Hospital for treatment.
The incident happened at around 1am on Sunday 24th June at Society Bar, Charlotte Street.
Constable Abby Armour from Kirkcaldy Police Station said: “This was an unprovoked attack that has left the victim injured and we are keen to trace the man responsible as soon as possible.
“We believe that the man responsible used a glass or glass bottle during this assault.”
