Fife man sentenced to supervision for indecent images

 

 

A Dalgety Bay man has been sentenced to supervision for downloading indecent images of children.

Darin McQuillian (44), of The Moorings, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. 

He previously admitted that between 29th November last year and 12th January at Moray Park, Dalgety Bay, he downloaded indecent photographs of children. 

The court heard his devices contained 621 indecent images. 

Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said his client’s marriage had broken down. 

Sheriff Craig McSherry imposed a community payback order with 12 months’ supervision. 

McQullian will be on the sex offenders’ register for the same period.

    Disgusting should have been jailed. Folk get more for lesser offences. Community pay back and supervision for a year shakes head in disbelief
