Fife cocaine dealer jailed

A 27-year-old Fife man has been jailed after being caught drug-dealing for the second time.

Scott Tribe’s home in Kinghorn was raided by police and cocaine with a street value of over £1200 was recovered.

Tribe, of Strathmore Street, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He had admitted that between 5th May and 2nd June last year he was concerned in the supply of cocaine.

Depute fiscal Sarah Lumsden told the court that police obtained a search warrant and executed it at 9.55am on 2nd June last year when Tribe was in the house.

Police searched the property and found 29 grams of cocaine with a street value of up to £1240.

It was Tribe’s second drug-dealing conviction and he was warned to expect a jail sentence.

That turned out to be the case with Sheriff Charles MacNair sending him to prison for 27 months.
