Boy (14) shot with air gun in Fife woods

 

Police are investigating an incident in which a 14-year-boy was injured after being shot in both legs with an air gun.

The incident took place at Calais Woods in Dunfermline at around 6pm last Tuesday.

The boy was walking through the woods when he briefly spoke to two men who were shooting pellets at tin cans.

As he walked away, he was hit on both legs by air pellets which had to be medically removed.

The first male is white, approximately 5ft 10ins, stocky in his 30’s with short dark hair and a short greying beard. He was believed to be wearing a camouflage jacket with the hood up and a dark jacket.

The second male is white, approximately 5ft 10ins, early 20’s wearing camouflage clothing.
