NEW BURGER KING IN FIFE GETS GO-AHEAD

A new Burger King drive-thru restaurant has been given the go-ahead in Fife.

Councillors have approved the planning application for a site in Cupar’s South Road.

It will be next to a new Tesco and garden centre on the former Reekie garage site, due to be turned into a retail park.

The sit-down area will cater for around 46 people.

Plans have also been submitted to the council for a Burger King drive-thru and Costa Coffee at a site in Halbeath Main Street. No decision has so far been made on this application.
