Man and woman arrested after “attempted murder” in Fife

A man and a woman have been arrested over an attempted murder in Kirkcaldy.

The incident, in which a 48-year-old man was seriously assaulted, took place in Miller Street, at around 4pm yesterday.

There was a large police presence in the area following the incident and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

The man and woman who have been arrested are both aged 35.
