Fife town hit by a spate of ‘sneak-in’ thefts
Four thefts have taken place from homes in a Fife town over the past three days.
Police in St Andrews are warning residents to make sure their houses are properly secured after the ‘sneak-in’ incidents.
In each case, the properties were unlocked overnight with the thieves trying the doors to gain access.
Community Sergeant Sharon Holmes said, “We are following a positive line of inquiry in relation to these incidents however I am asking St Andrews residents to make sure they lock their doors overnight and be vigilant.”
