Family’s tribute to woman who died in Fife crash tragedy
The 38-year-old woman who died following a fatal road collision in Saline last week has been named as Michelle Russell from Alva.
Michelle’s Vauxhall Astra was involved in a collision with a trailer, which was being towed by a Land Rover Discovery, on Thursday morning.
Emergency services responded to the scene, where, despite the best efforts of the Scottish Ambulance Service, Michelle was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement Michelle’s family said today,” Michelle was a loved daughter, sister and aunty.
“We will miss her so much and would appreciate complete privacy for the family.”
Sergeant Ewan Pearce from Fife’s Road Policing Unit said, “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies remain with Michelle’s family at this very difficult time and our inquiries into the full circumstances of this collision continue.
“If you were on the B913 road at the Saline Hotel at around 10am on Thursday and witnessed what happened, or have any other information relevant to our investigation, then please contact police immediately.”
