Break-in at home of Fife woman killed in road accident

The home of a Fife woman killed in a road accident has been broken into in a sickening incident.

Police are investigating a break-in at  Kinnarchie Crescent, Methil, some time between Monday and yesterday in which a TV and iPad were stolen.

The householder died after being knocked down on Sunday.

Temporary Inspector Karen Muirhead at Levenmouth said, ” This is horrendous set of circumstances, a bereaved family already affected by the death of a loved one are now faced with the house being broken into and personal possessions stolen.

” We are appealing to members of the public for information to assist us in identifying those responsible and hopefully recover the property stolen.”
