Sports stars at launch of Fife’s new sports bar

 

 

The five-star luxury hotel, Fairmont St. Andrews, has hosted an evening to celebrate the launch of the Zephyr Sports Bar.

The new bar is a fresh take on the classic sports bar offering stylish surrounds in which to enjoy the biggest sporting events, delicious vegetarian and vegan food and drinks.

The event was attended by local businesses, guests along with well-known sports stars.

Those present included Eilidh Doyle, Scotland’s most medalled athlete, Ryan Grant, British and lrish Lions and Scotland rugby international, Ruaridh Jackson, Scotland rugby international, Sammi Kinghorn, world champion and world record holder wheelchair racer and Rowen Shepherd, Scotland rugby international.

Scottish Olympic medalists and World Champion curlers, Team Muirhead (pictured below), including Eve Muirhead, Vicki Chalmers, Jennifer Dodds, and Lauren Gray took part in a question and answer session.

Guests were invited to enjoy a first look at the new bar, sample sharable vegan and vegetarian cuisine alongside a range of vegan drinks including a stein of Zephyr pilsner, delicious cocktails, or a dram of malt whisky.

Guests enjoyed dishes from Zephyr’s new menu including Moroccan spiced falafel served with tahini Greek yogurt and green chili zhoug, sweetcorn & pepper sliders served with bbq jackfruit and warm sourdough with mushrooms, hazelnuts with tarragon and Dijon pâté.
