SHAMELESS GRAHAM REFUSES TO RESIGN

Shameless sex offender David Graham is still refusing to resign as a Fife councillor.

He is still representing people who want him out of office and out of the area.

At the local authority’s Cabinet Committee yesterday a motion calling for his immediate resignation was passed unanimously.

Graham, 43, who represents Buckhaven, Methil and Wemyss villages, will be sentenced at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Tuesday following his conviction last month.

Fife Council legal chief Lyndsay Thomson said there was “no power” to the committee in terms of Graham’s position as councillor.

The situation is similar to that after the conviction of another disgraced Fife politician, MSP Bill Walker. He was eventually forced out of office and jailed for domestic abuse in 2013.
