Flying Scotsman steaming back to the Kingdom

The Flying Scotsman will be back in Fife tomorrow with the exact schedule being kept under wraps because of safety fears.

There will be two crossings of the Forth set to be a big attraction as it was last year.

The concerns are over train enthusiasts taking up dangerous spots to see the world famous train.

Big crowds turned out last year to see the Flying Scotland make its way across the Forth Bridge and through the Kingdom.

The steam locomotive is expected to stop in Dunfermline in the early afternoon before it heads to Edinburgh arriving there at 2pm.

A second trip is planned in the evening on the Forth Circle route and through Alloa and Stirling before making its way back to the capital for 9.30pm.
