FIFE DRUG DEALER WAS CAUGHT DRIVING MORE THAN 26 TIMES OVER THE LIMIT FOR COCAINE

A Dunfermline drug-dealer was caught driving when more than 26 times over the limit for cocaine.
Christopher Currie, 28, of Gilfillan Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today.
He admitted that between 1st July and 2nd August last year at his home and elsewhere, he was concerned in the supply of cocaine.
He also admitted that on 2nd August last year, he drove a car when over the limit for cocaine. His reading was 264 microgrammes per litre of blood, the limit being 10 microgrammes.
Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports and told Currie, “This was an exceptionally high reading.”
A temporary driving ban was imposed until sentencing on 1st October.
Drug-driving limits and roadside testing were introduced in Scotland in 2019.
