Drugs worth over £4k found in car

 

A 36-year-old man has been charged after drugs with a street value of £4200 were found in a car in Fife.

Police recovered the drugs in Wellesley Road, Methil yesterday.

The illegal substances included 11.3 grams of cannabis resin and 41 grams of heroin. The man is scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today.

Constable Alex Black from the Community Investigation Unit said, “Following on from the recent pro-active successful drugs operations in the Levenmouth area further information from the public has resulted in us taking more drugs off the streets.”
