Cannabis plants worth £80k found in Dunfermline raid

A 42-year-old man has been charged after over 100 cannabis plants worth around £80,000 were discovered in a police raid in Dunfermline.

Officers searched an address in Robertson Road on Thursday following information from the public.

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Cunningham, of Glenrothes CID, said, “This is a significant amount of cannabis recovered during this search, which has resulted in us taking more illegal substances off the streets.”

Inspector Ian Flynn, of Dunfermline Police Station, said, “This recovery was as a direct result of the public’s help with local officers acting quickly on information from the community.”
