Arrest made following post office armed robbery
A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery at Kinglassie Post Office.
The incident happened around 2.15pm on Thursday at the premises in the village’s Main Street and allegedly involved a female staff member being threatened.
The man is scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Paul Dick of Fife CID said, “Our officers are dedicated to tackling crimes of violence and dishonesty whenever they occur.
“I would like to thank the victim and the local community for the support they have given us, which has allowed us to progress our investigation.”
