WOMAN KILLED IN HIGH STREET CRASH

A woman was killed and two people taken to hospital after a car crashed in Aberdour this morning.
An air ambulance was called out after a vehicle struck a shopfront in High Street.
Emergency services were called at around 10am following reports of the incident.
An 82-year-old female pedestrian was struck by the car and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Another woman, aged 75 and the driver of the vehicle, an 81-year-old man, were taken to hospital
Police closed off the street as ambulances and fire appliances rushed to the scene.
An eye witness said a vehicle was “embedded” into a shop.
