Man appears in court on Fife murder charge

A 34-year-man has appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today charged with murder following the death of Colin Oliphant in Kelty. 

Mr Oliphant died at a house in Keltyhill Avenue on Wednesday morning. 

William Richardson, from Glasgow, appeared on petition at court today charged with murder. 

Richardson made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody. He is expected to appear back in court within eight days.
