Female left scarred in vicious bottle attack by girl (16)
A 16-year-old girl carried out a violent attack with a bottle on another female in Fife.
The victim was repeatedly struck on the head with a glass bottle, which smashed in the assault in Kirkcaldy.
She sustained permanent disfigurement and permanent impairment.
The attacker, now aged 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
The Kirkcaldy teenager admitted that on 28th October last year at Links Street, acting under provocation, she assaulted a female by repeatedly striking her on the head and body with a glass bottle, causing the bottle to smash, to her severe injury, permanent disfigurement and permanent impairment.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and sentencing will take place on 16th October.
