Female (17) arrested following theft of High Street defibrillator

 

A 17-year-old female has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a defibrillator in Burntisland.

The life-saving device was stolen from outside the Co-op store on 26th June.

Earlier this week police released CCTV images of a female and male they wanted to speak to regarding the theft.

A report has now been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Sergeant Jimmy Adamson, of Kirkcaldy police station, said, “We’d like to thank members of the public for their assistance with this matter.”
