Alloy wheels worth £3000 stolen in Fife over two nights
Alloy wheels worth £3000 have been stolen in Fife over the past two nights.
Thieves targeted Specialist Cars showrooms in Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline late on Wednesday and Thursday.
Detective Sergeant Samantha Davidson, of Kirkcaldy CID, said, “Our inquiries are ongoing and we will be studying CCTV images in an effort to glean further information.
“However we are also keen to speak to anyone who can assist our inquiries.
“Meanwhile we would urge businesses and owners of high-value VW cars to take extra security precautions and, in particular, to fit locking wheel nuts to the car wheels.”
