OAP ARRESTED OVER £3.2M CANNABIS FARM IN FIFE

A 70-year-old man has been arrested after cannabis plants worth an estimated £3.2m were discovered in a warehouse in Fife.

Officers found the cultivation in the Gateside Industrial Estate in Cowdenbeath at about 10.30am on Thursday.

Police Scotland said just under 2,000 plants were seized.

A 70-year-old man has been arrested in connection and released pending further inquiries.
